Target group: women and mothers in Almaty city and the surrounding area who want to start or grow their own business
Project goal: Örkendarium is a training program that combines learning, practice, and community support. We help participants turn ideas into real ventures and first steps into confidence — building entrepreneurial basics, trying new things, and finding like-minded women, all at their own pace.
About the name: The name comes from the Kazakh word örken — growth, moving forward. Örkendarium is a space where growth brings people together and accumulates, like the knowledge and experience of a community.
Program structure:
- Level I “Start with Confidence” — for those just beginning: entrepreneurship basics, communication, digital tools and AI.
- Level II “Grow through Leadership” — for those with experience: business management, financial planning, promotion and leadership.
- Mentorship program — guidance from experienced entrepreneurs and specialists.
Last season’s results (2025): 246 applications · 60 women trained · 37 business ideas developed · 92% participant satisfaction.
Recognition: In 2025, the program won first place in the “Education” category of the “Aiqyn” Social Impact Awards, organized by the partner platform Kazakhstan Growth Forum. The project was recognized as one of the best among 104 social projects from 18 regions of Kazakhstan.
